Day 01:
Shimla – Narkanda – Hattu Peak – Rampur – Jeori – Sarahan

175 Km - 2100m - 6-7hrs

Drive from Shimla enroute visit Kufri, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda hike to Hattu Peak (3135 Meter Peak) walk back to the Jeep lunch either in Narkanda / Sainj, after lunch on to Rampur, drive through Jeori reach Sarahan for a over night stay.

Day 02: Sarahan – Jeori – Wangtu – Karcham – Sangla

92 Km - 2600m - 4hrs

Early morning visit the Bird Park walk for 2 hours, visit the Bhima Kali temple one of the most important temples of Kali in India where there use to be human sacrifice before 18th Century, drive to Jeori past the Wangtu bridge then drive towards, Karcham reach Sangla walk the market place if time allows visit the Kamru Fort & the Temple of the village deity in Sangla village over night in a hotel in Sangla.

Day 03: Sangla – Raksham- Chitkul- Sangla

52 Km - 3600m - 3hrs

After breakfast drive to Chitkul (3460 Meters) last village on India & Chinese border walk for half a day around Chitkul Village, return back to Sangla or an option of sleeping in Camps in Batseri is also available depending on availability or stay overnight in guest house / Hotel.

Day 04: Sangla-Recong Peo – Kalpa

49 Km - 2970m - 3hrs

After breakfast drive back through Sangla to powari visit the monastery in Reckong – Peo with a 60 ft tall statue of Buddha drive to Kalpa for a over nite stay visit the monastery & the orphanage in Kalpa. The view of Kinner Kailash 6050 meters will be an enchanting site.

Day 05: Kalpa – Nako

110 Km - 3600m - 4-5hrs

After breakfast drive through Reckong – Peo through powari, the landscape changes to Desert Mountains pass through the desert terrain drive through Puh to reach Nako for overnight stay. Visit the Lake & the Monastery of Nako walk through the Village of Nako.

Day 06: Nako – Tabo

60 Km - 3100m - 3hrs

After breakfast drive through the desert mountain range with villages & Desert Mountains in the surroundings reach Tabo (3050) meters a more than 1000 year old monastery visit the Monastery oven night in a guest house in Tabo.

Day 07: Tabo – Dhankar – Mud

94 Km - 3700m - 4-5hrs

After breakfast drive to Dhankar the old capital of Spiti visit the museum, Walk to Dhankar Lake famous for the common carp fishes. Lunch on the way & after drive towards the headquarters of spiti and for the over night sleep in last village of pin valley Mud

Day 08: Mud—Kaza

60 Km - 3400m - 3hrs

After breakfast in mud start hike towards pin parvati, for 2 hours and get back towards kungri monestry which has different sect of Buddhism and reach kaza by the evening, overnight stay in kaza

Day 09: Kaza – Key Monestry – Kibber/Kaza

34 Km - 4205m

After having breakfast in Kaza start drive towards key monestry, visit monestry and then move towards world s highest motrable village in the world (kibber 4205m) have lunch there and start walk around and in the village. Overnight stay in kibber or in Kaza

Day 10: Kaza – Langza – Komic – Demul – Kaza

70 Km - 4550m - 3hrs

After having breakfast in the morning start driving towards the beautiful village called Langza which has a beautiful statue of lord buddha and has a beautiful fossil park where you can walk and search for some nice fossils by yourself.Have lunch in a local home and drive towards a beautiful village called Komic which has a beautiful monestary of Sakya pa sect facing towards the back side of great himalayas and the front view of trans himalayas.By the eveing arrive Kaza and overnight in hotel in Kaza.

Day 11: Kaza/Kibber—Losar—Kunzum la—Rohtang La—Manali

200 Km - 2000m - 10-11hrs

Early in the morning start from Kaza/Kibber and drive towards Losar, have breakfast in Losar, reach Kunzum Pass(4551m) after that drive down towards river Chandra and reach Rohtang La(3970m) , for the evening reach Manali

Day 12: Manali – Naggar – Vashist – Manali

120 Km - 2100m - 4-5hrs

Early morning after having breakfast in your hotel/guesthouse go for a small hike to Hadimba Temple and then start driving towards the Rorich art galley and Naggar castle. Have lunch there and on the way back drive upto hot water sulphur spring called Vashist. In the evening walk in the main mall of manali.Overnight stay in hotel/Guesthouse.

Day 13: Manali – Old Manali – Solang – Manali

40 Km 2000m 3hrs

After having breakfast in the mornig go for a walk towards old manali and visit Old Historical Mannu temple. Jeep will pick you from there and then start driving towards Solang Valley which is known for Skiing in winters and para gliding in summers. Have lunch there and come back to Manali.Half of the day is free for you to explore the town Manali. Overnight stay in guesthouse / Hotel.

Day 14: Manali – Rohtang La – Keylong – Baralacha La – Sarchu

225 Km - 4210m - 7-8hrs

Early morning after having breakfast start driving towards Rohtang La and get down to Lahul Valley,have lunch in Keylong which is the headquarter of Lahul Valley.After lunch start driving towards the Baralachala Pass (4892m) and by the evening arrive in Sarchu (4210m).Overnight stay in Camps in Sarchu.

Day 15: Sarchu – Nakeela la – Lachungla – Paang – Tang lang la – Upsi – Leh

250 Km - 3600m - 8-9hrs

After having breakfast in Sarchu start driving towards the high passes in the trans himalayan ranges of Ladakh called Nakeela la (4930m) and La chung La (5065m) get the great views from each and every pass.By the lunch arrive in Paang and after having lunch start driving towards the worlds highest second motrable pass called Tanglang la (5360mts). By the evening arrive in Leh and overnight stay in hotel/guesthouse in Leh.

Day 16: In Leh

The Day for visit around Leh, I,e Kings Palace , Leh mosque and Shanti Stupa. Just walk around and visit the Bazaars you would come across diverse cross section of inhabitants thay all are very polite and of assistive nature. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 17: Leh - Thiksey - Shey – Leh

47km - 3600m

Full day sightseeing of Thiksey, Shey & Shankar monasteries. The Great monastery of Thiksey towers on a steep rocks at the periphery of an oasis on the right bank of the Indus. This monastery belongs to Elugpa order (Yellow sect). The layout of the monastery complex resembles the Potala palace in Lhasa.

Shey: the Shey palace also known as Khar Chung was built by Senge Namgyal in the beginning of the 17th century. It was erected on the ruins of an already existing castle. Shey monastery belongs to red hat order.

Shankar: this monastery belongs to Gelugpa order (Yellow sect) and was founded by the last Skushog Bakula as a branch monastery of Spituk during the turn of the century. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 18: Leh - Khadungla Pass (5580m) - Nubra Valley

3080m - 120 Km

Leave after breakfast 5/6 hours drive (120 Km) will take you to Nubra Valley, passing through Gangles villages the road than rises to reach Khardongla pass ( 5600 m) the worlds highest motorable road in the world. The road then passes through a bridge laid on Glacier, which finds its way in Guiness book of world records. Check in at Chamba Camp in Hunder or Olthang Guest House in Diskit. Short drive will take you to Hunder to enjoy the sand dunes and bacterian camels. One can have Camel ride on the availability of the camels. Overnight stay in Summor in Camps.

Day 19 : Nubra – Sightseeing


After breakfast leave and visit interesting places of the Nubra valley visiting Sumur monastery, which is 265 years old. Diskit is the headquarter of the present administration set up of Nubra Valley but from the historical and tourist point of view diskit is famous for its 515 years old Buddhist monastery situated on a hill top giving panoramic view of the valley. Afternoon short drive will take you to Panamic, which is famous for its hot sulphur spring. In the evening return back to the camps in Summor.

Day 20 : Nubra - Leh inroute 120km.

Leave after breakfast and drive back to Leh by the lunchtime you will reach into the hotel. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon free for personal activities. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Leh.

Day 21 & 22: Leh – Pangong Lake - Leh (3500m)

300 Km both sides 6-7hrs one side

On the way you will see the pass of Kongmaru through the traveler use to cross for the markha valley trek, and a nice monastery of Tangtse finally you will there at pangong lake which lies between India and china and back to lower altitude for night staying in guesthouse/camps.Next day after having breakfast start driving towards Leh, overnight stay in Hotel in Leh.

Day 23: Leh - Tsomoriri Lake (4268m)

240 Km 7-8hrs

Early morning we drive to Tsomoriri Lake along the right bank of Indus river passing through different villages till Mahe bridge. From here drive along the rough dust road through Sumdo and Thatsang Karu Lake. Overnight stay in nomadic camps.

Day 24 & 25: Tsomoriri Lake (4268m)

After breakfast we walk to Korzok village to visit the monastery which is 350 yrs old belonging to the Yellow Sects and we can enjoy the spectacular view of the lake, then walk up to nomadic area.Overnight stay in nomadic camps.

Morning leave back for Leh. Arrive Leh and check in at Hotel for overnight stay at hotel in Leh

Day 26: Leh – Phyang-Spituk-Leh

28 Km - 3600m - 2hrs

Phyang: lies away from Indus to the far right at the ridge between Nimu & Leh. Phyang belongs to red hat order and was founded in the 16th century by Kungda Grangs-Pa.

Spituk: the origins of which date back to the A.D 11th century, was built in its present form in the 15th century. Evening free to rest.Overnight stay in Hotel in Leh.

Day 27: Leh – Alchi – Lamayuru

125 Km - 3000m - 4-5hrs

After early breakfast, we drive Lamaru en route visit Alchi monastery considered amongst the world's famous monastery built in the 11th century. Alchi monastery is very different from the rest as it has a fusion of Tibetan and Kashmiri Art. After that we continue to drive with a halt at Uleytokpo camp for Lunch, after lunch, we drive with again a short halt to visit Lamayuru monastery perched spectacularly on a hilltop. Overnight in Lamayuru.

Day 28: Lamayuru – Kargil – Darass

150 Km - 2800m - 4-5hrs

We then continue our drive passing through two passes Photo La (13,749 ft) & Namakila pass to reach Kargil and have lunch there.By the evening arrive a small and beautiful town called Drass from where you can get the view of Tiger hill. Overnight at the hotel in Drass.

Day 29: Drass - Srinagar via Zojila

3529 meters 100 Km 4-5hrs

Today we depart for Srinagar; the journey to Srinagar takes us through some of the well-known towns Drass considered among the second coldest place only during the winters and then zigzagging downhill from Zojila pass among the well-worn tourist trails towards a different landscape from stark barren mountains to the meadows to Sonamarg then the trail follows along the Sind River passing through small hamlets. From Sonamarg, we continue to drive for another three hours to reach our home for the next few days, while we are in Srinagar. Upon arrival, we check-in to our house boat. Overnight at the Houseboat

Day 30: Srinagar Sightseeing


Early this morning, we will set out on a tour to visit the famous Moghul Gardens; we will first visit the Shalimar Garden at top of the Dal Lake. This beautiful "Garden of Love" as its known was conceived by the Emperor Jehangir as a private recreation area for his beloved wife Noor Jehan. We then continue to visit Nishat Garden, known as "Garden of Bliss" was laid out for the public by Noor Jehan's brother. It is a better version of Shalimar, with steep escalating terraces, lovely walkways, waterfalls, pavilions and offers a spectacular view over the lake. We return to the House Boat for Lunch. Afternoon at leisure, followed with a Shikara Ride to view the sunset. Overnight at the House Boat

Day 31: Srinagar - Gulmarg – Srinagar

150 Km - 1730m - 5-6hrs

Today early morning you are woken up with a hot cup of tea/coffee for a Sunrise shikara ride and also to view the early morning vegetable market on the lake, followed with breakfast, after breakfast we set out on a tour to Gulmarg means Gul (flower) marg (meadow) in Kashmiri language, this beautiful mountain resort is famous for its variety of flowers, natural golf course situated at 2750 meters and for its winter skiing center. It offers a spectacular view of the entire Kashmir valley. At Gulmarg, we can also enjoy the "Gandola" that means a cable car ride to Khalinmarg. Overnight in houseboats.

Day 32: Srinagar – Pahalgam

90 Km - 2400m - 3-4hrs

Leave Gulmarg after early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam ( Valley of Shepherds ) via Srinagar . Drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River . The total distance of about 140 Km will be covered in about 4 hrs. On arrival in Pahalgam, transfer to Hotel. Lunch,Dinner in houseboat.

Day 33 : Pahalgam - Srinagar

90 Km 1730m 3-4hrs

Drive back to Srinagar from Pahalgam and transfer to houseboat.As this is going to be the last day for you in the Himalayas so you have half day in Shrinagar for shopping and lesure. Overnight stay in Houseboat.

Day 34: Srinagiar - New Delhi

Today an optional Shikara ride followed with breakfast, after breakfast, you will be assisted to the airport to continue your flight to New Delhi
